St Paul's Cathedral London & Red Hot Air Balloons
This British antiquarian dictionary book print features an illustration of the iconic tourist attraction, St Paul's Cathedral surrounded by Red Hot Air Balloons (and one of a series of red Balloon prints available), created by FabFunky UK illustrations artist, Kelly Stevens. Designed and made in Britain.
Quirky, delightful, elegant and always fun, this print will most certainly provide a talking point and be sure to make all who see it smile, whether it be in your home or your office. They make fantastic gifts and look marvellous when they are displayed together in groups. As they are made from recycled paper, they are also environmentally friendly!
We love the luxurious use of colour and the eccentric characters who seem to all have their own distinct personalities which you may see in one of your own friends or family members!
Each print is an entirely original piece of art purely because the background of EVERY print is different. This is because the artist uses genuine antique British dictionaries (and occasionally pages from antique books of legends and myths) from the 1800's upon which to set the print and so each finished print becomes a part of British history. The antique pages used by Fabfunky have aged over many decades and have gently mellowed to an ivory patina, providing a perfect and unusual backdrop. Many pages have irregularities and age marks which adds to each prints charm and vintage authenticity.
FabFunky position the images on the antique page so that they can be trimmed by the purchaser to sit perfectly in an 8" x 10" (20cm x 25.5cm) frame. Alternatively, the purchaser may choose to use a 14" x 11" (35.5cm x 28cm) frame with an ivory mount. Frames and mounts are NOT including and are for display only. Your image will be printed onto a page different to the one shown here as each piece is absolutely unique. Each print is carefully dispatched on a card backing with cello wrapping.
